Northgate has several permanent as well as seasonal stores opening these next two weeks.
Pawsibilities Adoption Boutique is a permanent store that opens at Northgate December 3 in a store located on the Plaza close to Mall Entrance #4. The mission of Pawsibilities is to assist animal rescues and shelters with increasing their rate of adoption for dogs. While shopping and dining at Northgate, Pawsibilities makes pet adoption more likely by locating itself within a retail environment convenient for shoppers to stop in and spend time with dogs. Hopefully these visits will result in a possible adoption. Pawsibilities will also carry eco-friendly pet products with a focus on goods made in the United States featuring such companies as Cycle Dog, West Paw and Eco-Hound. Pawsibilities Grand Opening will occur on Sunday, December 4 from 7 PM – 9 PM at Center Court with Northgate’s annual “Paws and Claws” event where shoppers have their photos made with Santa and their dog or cat. All proceeds will benefit Pawsibilities.

Cosmic Glow Golf opens on December 3 with a grand opening beginning at 10 AM. This store will be located next to Sears and is Durham’s first and only glow in the dark mini golf course. Mini Golf is already fund but have even more fun playing the game in a 100% black light facility. Cosmic Glow Golf is created to feel as though you are in outer space with bright, glowing suns; stars, moons, astronauts, aliens and rocket ships. All 18 holes are constructed with glow in the dark florescent paint that glow brightly under the black lights and the golf balls light up for even more excitement. If one makes a hole in one on the 18th hole, you win a free game card for your next visit.
Cosmic Glow Golf is for all ages and this store will carry a Party Zone for Birthday parties and other occasions. For reservations call 919-286-0095.

The Cookie Store at Northgate has expanded its location to a corner store for more visibility. Located just behind Ruby Tuesday and across from the Food Gallery, the Cookie store will offer seasonal specials as well as their everyday baked goods. The new store will be opened before Thanksgiving Day.
Jake’s Wayback Burgers is now open in the Food Gallery. The counter seating and delicious hamburgers make this national chain restaurant an added food specialty to the Food Gallery.
Glamour Setters will be expanding their store space by moving to a new location across from Hibbett Sports. They will be expanding the merchandise and the square footage from 496 square feet to 573 square feet by relocating to the new space.
Save More is a new discount store that will carry a variety of home and décor items. This new store will be located across from Closet Fashions.
Seasonal Stores and Kiosks Include:
E&E Fashions, a kiosk located on the Macy’s wing of the mall selling women’s accessories, homemade sweaters, dream catchers, blankets, etc.
Dollar Holiday is a new dollar store located next to Northgate’s Customer Service Center. This store carries high quality holiday merchandise such as paper plates, cups napkins, gift bags, tree ornaments, holiday candy, holiday trays, etc. etc.
Perfume World is located on a kiosk close to the Customer Service Center
Ho B Max toys and games is located in a store space 518 across from the Food Gallery at Northgate.
Hickory Farms kiosk has returned selling holiday candy, assorted cheeses and gift packages suitable for mailing as well as gift giving.
Hickory Farms kiosk is located on the Macy’s wing of the Mall.
