Build a Terrarium at the MakerLab

*BUILD A TERRARIUM Tuesday, Mar. 20, 2 – 3:30 p.m. Terrariums are usually sealable glass containers that can be opened for maintenance and to access the plants inside. Rather than being sealed, terrariums can also be open to the atmosphere. Terrariums are often kept as decorative or ornamental items.

DIGITAL WEDNESDAYS In January, learn how to access the library’s digital collection—downloadable and streaming resources such as movies, music, and audiobooks. In February, learn about social media and ask yourself whether you really need it. In March, learn email basics—set up an email account and learn how to log in, compose, and send emails. If you do not have experience using the Internet, please attend Internet Basics first.

NEW! Lidded Vessels (Ages 16 & up) This class will explore several different styles and methods for making lids, primarily on the wheel, but also using hand-building techniques. Examples of forms we will learn to build include lidded jars, canisters, casserole dishes, boxes, soup tureens and teapots.
